Project Manager
Tiva Systems needs a Project Manager to work in a large financial environment. Consultant is responsible for full SDLC release management and the phases and relative roles involved. Consultant will shepherd requirements through to deployment. Work with development teams, testing teams and work with business partners and other integration teams. Directs and monitors all activities for medium to large projects from initiation to delivery. Projects typically cross platforms, applications, and /or business lines. Works with business partners to develop, project schedules, and costs for new systems initiatives. Plans and directs program schedules and budget, monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections. Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing cost analyses, significant issue management, and communication with business lines and technology management levels.
Requirements:
- 5+ years Project Management experience in large environments
- Advanced knowledge of SDLC
- PMP Certified preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and soft skills
- Financial background (Commercial Banking a plus)
- Ability to function well in fast-paced, chaotic environment while multi-tasking
- Must have RUP
Business Process Architecture & UML Specialist
- Business Process Architecture & UML Specialist
- Looking for a strong business process modeler who's able to demonstrate their competency with applying UML in a business architecture-focused role. Telecom/wireless experience required.
- Requires extensive Business Process Architecture experience.
- Strong UML modeling exp, particularly at Business Process Level.
- Use cases, at the Business Process Level (Business Process is main focus).
- Understanding of N-tier environments (multiple environments + online capabilities that span multiple environments and their associated challenges).
- Really strong Oral & Written Communication skills (will work with Business proponents regularly).
- 2nd tier types of things: familiarity with RUP, knowledge of good Object Oriented analysis & design techniques.
Sr. SOA Architect
Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Position: Technical Expert - SOA Years of post college business experience: Ten to twelve years of relevant work experience.
Industry Experience: Consulting and general industry experience in Energy, Financial Services and B2B/B2C experience is a plus
Type of experience required: Lead and supported engagement teams by providing expertise in the design, development and configuration of EAI and SOA based solutions. Worked closely with clients and demonstrated the individual technical and professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables met the client?s expectations. Provided best practice techniques in the realm of application integration strategies and architectures including EAI, App. servers, SOA and ESB experience with vendor products in this space. Basic Qualifications:
*** 4+ years of experience in deploying EAI architecture and solutions using SeeBeyond (preferred), TIBCO, WebMethods or Vitria. *** 3+ years of experience in deploying SOA architecture using WebSphere, TIBCO or BEA *** 6+ years of experience with visual modeling tools, such as the Rational Suite; *** 6+ years of experience with in using modeling methods, including OOA/D, UML, or IDEF; *** 4+ years of experience using EA frameworks, including FEAF or Zachmann; *** 4+ years of experience with J2EE; *** 2+ years of experience with .NET
Business Analyst
Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
* Plan and design complex business processes and make recommendations in order to improve and support business activities. * Understand complex business processes. Identify possible weaknesses in the system processes and document potential improvements. * Analyze and document client's complex business requirements and processes. * Construct conceptual data and process models. * Create/update data/process models in relation to requests from client organizations. * Transform a business concept into a high-level system. Create complex test-case scenarios to be used in testing and monitor/oversee the testing of business applications to verify that all client requirements are incorporated into the system design. * Provide input into the development and modification of systems to meet client needs. * Review system functionality in relations to the business requirements and recommend enhancements that will benefit both user and system requirements. * Coordinate business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provide project member guidance/support throughout the project's lifecycle. * Analyze testing results in all phases. * Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify intent of change is carried through the entire project.
Basic Qualifications:
* 2 Yrs Java, J2EE and XML development. * 2 yrs Nextance configuration. * 2 yrs Tamino XML DB administration. * Application deployment in eBusiness complex application deployment using SunONE application and web servers.
IT Analyst
* Five or more years of progressively responsible related experience in business systems analysis, software development and installation, and product management.
* Experience with Use Case Analysis and data modeling
* Strong analytical skills- ability to gather inputs from various individuals and design a common optimal solution
* Five or more years of experience on Java/J2EE
* Ability to meet project deadlines; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, employees and clients/customers/users; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
* Proficiency in tools like Together J etc. for design and development.
* Good analysis, design, problem solving and communication skills.
* Sound understanding of business processes
* Ability to install and operate a variety of software programs; ability to troubleshoot existing application programs and computer systems; ability to meet project deadlines; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, employees and clients/customers/users; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
